I’ll be posting up info soon on ordering.
Been getting lots of emails on when I'll be taking orders for the Leica M9 skin and I think I finally settled on how I would like to release this and it will be in the form of donations to NF.
I'll post information here and here once I skin the other phone.
Stay tuned and thanks for the support!
And for my fellow 365 photographers yeah, I'm taking the cheap way out today by taking another photo of my phone.

They cleared their goal of $25K in like ~2 days. This shows that:

Well I do want an M9 and a 21mm ƒ/1.4, 50mm ƒ/.95 & 90 ƒ/2 but my kids like to eat everyday and enjoy having a roof over their heads. So, this sticker on the back of my phone will do for now.
I don't quite remember how much homework I had when I was in 1st grade but The Girl came home with over 90 minutes worth of math and reading assignments.
She did try some shortcuts but I caught her doing them and told her the classic, "Do it once and do it right" speech. I don't think she fully grasped the concept of that but either way she ended up being best friends with the eraser end of the pencil.
At one point she wanted to use the calculator on her phone to help with math. I gave her the stink eye.
It's gonna be a long year.
So The Girl has a fascination with parasols that when we went to the store the other day it came as no surprise as to what she wanted. Later on in the day she had asked me to cut one of her balloons. I asked her why but she wouldn't tell me.
Fast forward to this morning when she woke me up and showed me what she made: an island vacation holiday.
I looked at it, then looked at her, then looked at it again. She is something else.

Getting some love at Laughing Squid. On a related note, getting emails from lots of people wanting to buy one off me. Unfortunately, it’s not for sale. However, if you’re handy with Ps you’re surely to make one a lot better than me.
I actually suck at Ps.
Not only is it Friday, it's also the end of the first week of school, hurrah! What better way to celebrate the end of the week by jumping for joy!
In other news really amazed by all the interest with the phone. Who knew other people were as sticker crazy as I am.
Onigiri is like one of the best lunch items around. You can simply take a few and shove it in your pocket while you're riveting support beams on the latest high rise or whatever.
When the lunch whistle blows, just reach into your pocket and pull them out to eat. Nom, nom, nom! They may look small but they are so filling almost like Lembas Bread that it can keep someone full for days on end.
The onigiri depicted here are actually made with brown rice instead of the traditional white rice.
Turns out yesterday's photo brought out a bit of interest.
The Girl asked if she could have a sticker on her phone also. When I asked if she wanted a camera too she said no and wanted a kitty cat instead. Go figure.
She did say that my phone looked silly because it looked like a camera. To which she picked it up and started photographing things around the room.
This is the last day of summer vacation so we decided to spend it pool side. Splashing around and doing the whole Marco Polo thing. After a bit Mouse Girl decided she just wanted to chill pool side watching the sunset.

I also didn't get beat up by my god daughter whom I haven't seen in ears. I need to get better at this whole god father thing.
So I told The Girl that summer vacation is coming to an end and school is gonna start soon. Also that we're gonna go to the store to buy some school supplies. That caused her to leap in the air. I'm figuring it's the buying of water paint, crayons and glue sticks which is getting her all hyped up and not going back to school.

Yeah, that so didn't work.
To design my own skin for my phone. Now to see if it actually prints halfway decent.
Went to the mall. Came back to play video games. Just another day I suppose.
In this position my camera got hit more than a few times. Which in turned caused the viewfinder to smack me in the eye more than a few times as well.
Playing newspaper photographer today I asked Mouse Girl if she wanted to be a photographer when she grew up. She said no she wanted to be a chef. I told her she couldn't eat all the food she cooks with. After hearing that, she looked pretty disappointed.

Other than the obvious difference in focal length both of them render very differently even wide open at Æ’/1.2. The 85 while slower to lock in focus really is the sharper of the 2.
Also I've got to reacquainted with the focusing ring on the 50 again as I've gotten really used to the focus by wire on the 85.

Whatever happened to crazy? What happened to crazy? What, you can’t be crazy no more? Did we eliminate ”crazy” from the dictionary?

Placing a pin on a map to mark your spot. Don't know what possessed me to do this but a bit north of the pin is Per Se.
Always wondered if you could just request a transfer from one restaurant to the next. You know, like ask HR or something.
Summer vacation is also winding down for Mouse Girl so spending all day playing with her doll house will also come to an end.
It's a good thing that it's a bit much for her to carry around because then she'd take it to the bathroom when she should be concentrating.
